Tree Hill is just a place somewhere in the world. Maybe it’s a lot like your world, maybe it’s nothing like it. But if you look closer, you might see someone like you, or someone like you. Someone trying to find their way. Someone trying to find their place. Someone trying to find their self. Sometimes it seems like you are the only one in the world who’s struggling, who’s frustrated, unsatisfied, barely getting by. But that feeling’s a lie. And if you just hold on, just find the courage to face it all for another day, someone or something will find you and make it all okay. Because we all need a little help sometimes – someone to help us hear the music in their world, to remind us that it won’t always be this way. That someone is out there. And that someone will find you…
For the thousands of us who grew up watching the WB/CW Show “One Tree Hill” you all know how much Wilmington, NC means to us. Wilmington is a special place and for so many of us we lived and feel in love with this town during the almost 10 years that the show was running.
So it was no surprise that our OTH family has come together once again to support the town that made us who we are.
From Danneel Ackles ・・・In wake of the devastation caused by Hurricane Florence, the Ladies of One Tree Hill and I have started a crowdrise page with randomactsorg to help those impacted by this powerful storm. We will have people on the ground in Wilmington(when it’s safe to return) ready to distribute what is needed to those who need it throughout the Carolinas. Thank you as always for your steadfast support.❤️
Also with the help of our favorite ladies they came up with this t-shirt.
Wilmington is the kind of town where Everyone Knows What You Did Last Summer. A place where you quickly become a regular at coffee shops on the Cape Fear. It has been home to all of us. The local families who live there, crews and casts of shows who’ve made it their homes, and the incredible fans who have traveled East Bound for decades to see their favorite Creeks and Ravens Basketball courts. It’s been home to Fire-starters and Empires of Records. Where we’ve all dreamt of our futures in a Notebook or two. It’s provided the backdrop where many of us have found ourselves represented. Where we’ve screamed at scares and cried for love. Whatever it is that’s made Wilmington into your beloved Everytown, your real or imagined home, the folks there need our help. And in the surrounding cities too. From Morehead to the Outer Banks. Hurricane Florence has left devastation in its wake, and it’ll take serious time and resources to repair.
Join us in supporting those who currently live there as they recover from this storm. We love North Carolina, always and forever.
