This post is going to be a little bit different because this post is about something that needs to be talked about more. I’m talking about sexual assault and harassment.
It happens to everyone, it even happens to people in the public eye.
Thank You Aly Raisman for bringing truth to power on an issue that needs to be brought to light. I was very blessed to have a Gymnastics coach whom made us all feel loved, respected, & safe. But that’s not true for some athletes. Many athletes feel ashamed or embarrassed at what happened to them or at them and think its their fault. But the only person whom should be feeling guilty, ashamed, & embarrassed is the person whom did those things. So please speak up for those whom feel like they can’t for whatever reason, speak up so that the next girl or boy won’t have to go through what you did. It’s time that we stood up and Spoke Truth To Power!
